Remember when people said first impressions are important? They are. To me, they’re important because they are the best way to engage people. However, when creating presentation, you need more than just engagement. You also need to leave your audience with important takeaways. The takeaways can come in the form of further discussions, action items or information that need to be shared.

Your last slide of the presentation is your final chance to drive some of your ideas home and you should never waste it. Plan your conclusions ahead of your presentation and build a strategy that can help guide your audience in the right direction.
