Are you a live presentation survivor?
To those who survived another live presentation that could’ve been sent in an email
Hi. I survived another live presentation that could have easily just sent via email. What about you?
Before you send a new meeting invite for a live presentation, think about the best way to deliver your message. Sometimes our presentations do not require a discussion or human interaction; rather, they demand great writing skills for offline communication.
If your ideas can be easily communicated and explained via email, prepare something like a Slidedoc. Spend more time preparing your content and make sure you’ve included enough information for your audience to understand it. Your emailed version should provide more details that you would not usually put in a presentation; however, make sure it’s easy to digest. Sending a presentation via email might require a little more work due to the absence of personal interaction. It might feel a little uncomfortable at the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a walk in the park!
